Hook Up Culture is a warm embrace of a night – celebrating desire, yearning and romance. Part comedy and part conversation: we’re interested in exploring the culture of a hook up and the art in a kiss. Between our effervescent hosts, top notch acts and mesmerising house band The Fuckaround Five you’ll be utterly charmed: old school vibes meets 2025 concerns.

We are looking for acts for Hook Up Culture: a new monthly mixed bill night celebrating all things love, lust, desire and romance.

We feel that dating in London is frequently awful, tiring and grim – we want to redress the balance by offering hope, camaraderie, fun, and joy. We want to swoon over the recollection of a passionate first kiss and laugh at the worst dates we’ve ever had; we want to feel inspired about the joys yet to come (or at least inspired to stop pity-matching subpar strangers on Hinge).

If you have songs/sets/stanzas that chime in any way with the above, please get in touch!

We are looking for:

  • seasoned performers to headline/host
  • new acts who want to trial work in a shorter slot
  • people who want to share a single song/poem/story
